At Ningaloo Glass Bottom Boat, we are committed to ensuring that everyone can experience the beauty of Ningaloo Reef, including those with disabilities and wheelchair users. Our facilities and services are designed to provide easy and comfortable access for all our guests. Our two vessels the “Ningaloo Coral Explorer II” and the “Reef Viewer” both offer easy access.

Vessel Accessibility

• Convenient Seating: Wheelchairs can be taken up to the boats, where comfortable bench seating and hand rails are within arm’s reach, offering a clear view of the glass panels.
• Spacious Deck: The open-air design of our glass-bottoms boat provides ample space, making it comfortable for all users to enjoy the views both above and below the water.
• Secure Wheelchair Areas: Designated areas on the deck ensure that wheelchairs can be safely secured during the journey, providing a stable and enjoyable experience.

Featuring side doors for easy boarding, wheelchair users and those with limited mobility can embark smoothly and comfortably. Wheel chairs have access to the door of the vessel and then the side hand rails and bench seating are within arms reach. On most tides the deck is level with the multi height jetty.

If seating is required to be in the wheel chair, the front table can be removed allowing wheel chair seating at the front of the glass by prior arrangement.

Discover unparalleled accessibility with our innovative Reef Viewer. Designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, our front-loading area allows seamless access for guests of all abilities. This loading area is close to or level with the jetty on almost all but the highest tides. On the high tides, there is easy access through the side doors.

• Friendly Crew: Our experienced and friendly crew members are always ready to assist with boarding, disembarking, and any other needs you may have during the tour. They are trained to provide support and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Informative Commentary: Enjoy engaging and informative commentary about the reef and marine life from our crew, tailored to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Important Information

• Meeting Point: Please note that our bus does is not wheel chair lift equiped. Those requiring special road transportation requirements, must meet at Tantabiddi only.
• Booking Assistance: If you have any specific accessibility needs or require additional assistance, please contact us in advance. We are here to help make your experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
