Our Family & Staff

Alek

If you tour with Ningaloo Ecology Cruises, you’ll have the chance to meet Alek, a rare breed who LOVES his job, has a perpetual supply of smiles and bad jokes, and a passion for the treasures living within the Ningaloo Reef.

Gina

Chances are, if you ring us, you’ll speak with Gina on the phone. She is a “magician” managing so well the often challenging role of running the household and answering the incoming business calls. How she does it all is beyond me but I’m glad she can do it all so well.

Kuba

Our son Kuba is very inquisitive and loves being outdoors and active. He is full of life, enjoys a good adventure and even loves being a big brother to his little sister Klaudia (most of the time). Kuba regularly comes out on our tours and happily shares his knowledge about the Ningaloo Reef with our customers. Perhaps someday, he will take charge himself.

Klaudia

Klaudia is eager to compete with her big brother as she often strives to do everything that he already can do. Snorkelling for hours on Ningaloo Reef and also joining some of our tours, Klaudia’s laugh and cheeky grin are infectious.

Todd

Todd brings more than 8 years of experience guiding tours on the Ningaloo Reef and loves sharing the wonders of Ningaloo with visitors to Exmouth. A Zoologist, he will teach you lots of amazing facts about the corals and creatures that inhabit this area.

Kate

Hi, I’m Kate a.k.a “Laughs a Lot “. I’ve been coming to the North West Cape for the past 40 years and moved here from Perth in 2005. That’s when I started working for Alek and Gina for quite a few years before moving to Tasmania with my partner. Three years later, we’ve come back to sunny Exmouth as the cold weather in Tassie was too much. I’m so happy to be back working on the glass bottom boat – it’s a dream job with an awesome crew.

Chad

I’m Chad. I’m originally from the central coast of New South Wales. After traveling Australia for many years, I stumbled upon Exmouth about 6 years ago ( ran out of money and needed a job!). I fell in love with the joint and haven’t left. The main reason being the outrageous beauty which lays beneath the waters’ surface, and I love having the opportunity to share this……

Eleanor

I’m Eleanor or El. Originally from the east coast, I’ve been living in the North West for three years and love it up here. After working with an Aboriginal Ranger group in Karratha for a few years and spending all my money on fuel to get to Exmouth every other weekend, it seemed the only logical thing to do was to pack up and move to Exmouth! I haven’t looked back since and love calling the wonders of the Ningaloo home.

This could be you!
