Coral viewing and humpback whale watching in Ningaloo Reef
Ningaloo Reef is fortunate to host the majestic humpback whales along their West Coast migration route. Every year from June until October, these magnificent creatures are seen frolicking in the waters around Exmouth. And we are lucky to follow along with them!
This tour includes coral viewing on the shallow reef habitats of the Tantabiddi Sanctuary Zone combined with humpback whale watching on the magnificent Ningaloo Reef on the West Side. Setting us apart from the competition is an opportunity to not only see the humpback whales, but also to have a unique perspective into the world they live in through our vessel’s large glass panels.
You spend a full three hours on the Ningaloo Coral Explorer glass-bottom boat enjoying a combination of humpback whale watching and coral viewing, with full commentary provided by our experienced skipper
Free courtesy bus pick-up from Exmouth and light refreshments on board help ensure that our Whale Watching & Coral Viewing tour is an enjoyable experience.
*Please note that in September and October, this tour is no longer available as the whales will have made their way into the Exmouth Gulf, and we will commence our tours operating out of Bundegi Boat Ramp.
There is a chance that the whales will leave the West Side before the end of August and any afternoon tours already booked will swap to sunset tours.
